JULIE PUSCH, M.F.A. – Music Teacher


Began her musical endeavors at the age of three surrounded by older siblings who played the violin. Studied both violin and vocal performance at Illinois Wesleyan University with Professor Vadim Mazo and Dr. Carren Hoham, respectively. Concertmaster of the Illinois Wesleyan Civic Orchestra under the baton of Professor Steven Eggleston. Additional studies in Vienna, Austria under Paulette Herbich of the Vienna State Opera, and Renee Starr of the Vienna Philharmonic. Spent her summers studying chamber music at Milwaukee Chamber Music Festival as well as Ameropa Chamber Festival in Prague, Czech Republic. Currently performs with the groups ‘String Theory’ and ‘Cousin Lovers’. Records for the several artists. Finds her greatest satisfaction in composition.
