Purpose

Service grows through regular, practical work

Community service is part of the Concord experience. Students notice needs around them, respond with care, and learn that leadership includes practical contribution.

Service days stay concrete: packing food, cleaning a local shoreline, helping at a farm, supporting school events, and working beside classmates.

Student Growth

Service builds reliability, empathy, and follow-through

  • Students practice reliability by arriving prepared and completing assigned work.
  • Group service helps students learn how to coordinate, communicate, and support classmates.
  • Off-campus projects give students a clearer view of community needs beyond school.
  • Club and advisory groups can connect student interests with meaningful service projects.

Students leave service days with work they can name.

Concord focuses service programming on activities where students serve, reflect, and build responsibility through direct participation.
